MATCHA & HOJICHA MARBLE BREAD

 

This light and soft fluffy bread that has an earthy green tea flavour from Matcha Powder and nutty roasted flavour from Hojicha tea powder. The rich aroma and sweetness of our Organic Matcha Green Tea and Hojicha Tea add to the flavour of a beautiful marble bread!!

INGREDIENTS
- Wholemeal Bread Flour 250g

- Brown Sugar 10g

- Salt 4g

- Plant Based Milk 170g

- Yeast 1/4 stp

 

< Matcha Paste >

- ELUXELLA Organic Matcha Powder  5g

- Brown Sugar 5g

- Water 5-10g

 

< Hojicha Paste >

- ELUXELLA Organic Hojicha Powder 5g

- Brown Sugar 5g

- Water 5-10g



RECIPE

1. Put all ingredients for bread dough into a container for bread maker and set for " dough" setting.

2. Mix all ingredients for matcha paste. Add water little by little. (As long as there are no powdery bits left, it's OK.)

3. Divide the bread dough into 3. mix the Matcha paste into one of those dough and also mix Hojicha paste into one of those dough.

4. Re-roll the all doughs  neatly and let rest for 10 minutes covered with a wet cloth.

 

5. Roll out the dough lengthwise (about 30 cm) with a rolling pin. Cover with a wet cloth and let rest for 10 minutes.


6.Roll the dough around from the front. Roll the dough into a neat roll, pressing the left and right sides with the palms of your hands. Close the end of the roll tightly.

 

7. Put the dough into a non-stick loaf tin and place a lid on.

 

8. Bake in a 200°C oven for 30 minutes.

 

9. Enjoy!
